Is Malayalam hard for a child who reads English?
The script has more letters than English and a few sounds English doesn't use, but it is very regular: each letter has one sound. Children who learn the letters in small groups, with handwriting, usually read simple words within a few months.
Can my child prepare for an Onam programme or a church or temple event?
Yes. Songs, short recitations and reading aloud are part of the course, and the teacher can prepare your child for a specific programme if you tell us about it in advance.
