Fees

How our fees work, and why there's no price list

Ed Horizon classes are personalised: the teacher first understands your child, then we build a plan, and the fee follows the plan. So instead of a table of prices, here is exactly what decides the fee, what happens before you pay anything, and what every plan includes.

What happens before you pay anything

  1. 1. A free 30-minute demo class

Your child meets a real teacher on Zoom or Google Meet. It's a proper class, not a sales call, and there's no obligation afterwards.

  2. 2. The teacher understands your child

During the demo the teacher checks where your child is: reading and writing, how quickly they pick up something new, how long they can focus, and what you as a parent want from the classes.

  3. 3. We recommend a plan

Based on that, we suggest the format, how many classes a week, and what the first months will cover. Every plan is personalised to the child, which is why we don't publish a price list.

  4. 4. We share the exact fee on WhatsApp

You get the fee for that plan in writing before you decide. If you'd like a different frequency or format, we'll give you that option too.

What decides the fee

The subject

A language class, school maths, Prachar Sabha coaching and the AI course each run differently, with different materials and preparation.

Your child's level and class

A five-year-old starting letters and a Class 10 student preparing for board exams need different teachers and different lesson lengths.

One-on-one or small group

Most families choose one-on-one. Small groups suit speaking practice, and we'll tell you honestly which one fits your child.

How many classes a week

Two classes a week is the most common. Exam years and faster goals sometimes call for more; a maintenance plan can be one.

One-on-one: the usual choice

One child, one teacher, every week. The teacher moves at your child's pace, spends longer where they struggle, and skips what they already know. If your child grasps things quickly, the plan speeds up; if they need more repetition, it slows down without anyone noticing. This is the format for reading and writing, school subjects, exam preparation and Prachar Sabha levels.

Small groups: for speaking practice

Speaking a language needs someone to speak to. For conversation practice in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu or Kannada, a small group of children at a similar level gives your child real back-and-forth with others their age, which a one-on-one class can't fully replace. We suggest a group only when it suits your child, and many families combine one-on-one for reading and writing with a group for conversation.

Included in every plan

  • Live classes with the same teacher every week, never pre-recorded
  • A plan written for your child, adjusted as they progress
  • Homework and study materials through the Ed Horizon app
  • A monthly progress note for parents
  • A free teacher change if your child doesn't click with the teacher
  • A WhatsApp line to the team, with replies within an hour in working hours

Questions about fees

Why don't you show fees on the website?

Because the fee depends on the plan, and the plan depends on your child. Two children asking for 'Hindi classes' can need very different things: one is five and starting letters, the other is twelve and preparing for a Prachar Sabha exam. We'd rather meet your child first and then quote a fee for exactly what they need.

Is the demo class really free?

Yes. The 30-minute demo is free, with no card details and no obligation. Many families take the demo, think about it, and come back weeks later.

Is one-on-one more expensive than a small group?

The format is one of the things that sets the fee, so the two are usually priced differently. We'll show you both options where both make sense for your child, so you can choose.

Do you offer group classes at all?

Yes, small groups, mainly for speaking practice in the languages, where children benefit from talking with others their age. Reading, writing, school subjects and exam preparation are taught one-on-one.

Do fees differ for families outside India?

Tell us where you live when you book the demo. We'll share the fee and the payment options that work in your country on WhatsApp.

What if we want to stop?

Tell us on WhatsApp. We'll explain how the current plan ends before you join, so there are no surprises later.
